The concept of this "Virtual Board of Directors" and "Professional Advisory Board" evolved from an American Business Networks Strategic Business Relationships Group.  It is specifically designed to provide business owners and sales professionals with an external source of guidance at a fraction of the cost of a traditional board.  Business Owners and Commissioned Sales People all have one thing in common.  They are seekers.  They are always looking for ways to better themselves and their business.

Too often, however, they see the world through rose colored glasses and they miss things that others may see.  Our Advisory Boards provide guidance and assistance to every member.  Each member has an opportunity, on a rotating basis to present their business plan, goals, objectives and challenges and the other members of the group then ask questions, challenge assumptions and do exactly what a traditional board would be expected to do.  Advisory Board Members are also subject to the "PVC Test" Passion, Value and Commitment to their Business and Industry.

The group concentrates on helping each member achieve success by working in a collaborative fashion.  We identify Specific Issues that are preventing the Chair from taking their business to the next level.  We then work together to develop Action Plans to address the issues.  Each member brings a varied set of experience and expertise to the group and together, we help each other grow as individuals and as business people.

The Greensboro High Point Business Advisory Board meets semi- monthly with the current President presiding for a full month and then the presidency rotates to another member.
